What this region runs

Bangladesh runs one of the largest generic industries outside India, supplying its domestic market almost entirely from local manufacture and exporting onward. Nepal and Sri Lanka carry smaller but established formulation sectors. The product mix looks a great deal like the Indian one, which is useful.

Why our range fits it

Because the actives and dosage forms overlap so heavily with what we already supply in India, most enquiries from this region are for grades we hold rather than grades we would have to develop. The proton pump inhibitor group, the amoxycillin group and standard immediate release film coats all move here in volume.

Solvent base methacrylic enteric film for the Pantoprazole group.
Methacrylic base enteric coating applied from a non-aqueous system, formulated for the Pantoprazole group and other dissolution critical enteric tablets. It runs best over a transparent seal coat such as SC-401, which protects the acid labile core.

Moisture barrier for Amoxycillin and Clavulanate
Solvent base extra white barrier film for the most moisture sensitive combination.
Moisture barrier film coat on a solvent base, extra white, developed for Amoxycillin and Clavulanate potassium tablets. Water ingress during and after coating drives degradation in that combination, and this grade is built to hold it out.

Aqueous film coat, extra white
Water base extra white film coat for cores that show through a standard white.
Aqueous extra white film coat developed for tablets where the core colour bleeds through a conventional white film. Calcium and Azithromycin cores are the usual cases. It gives higher opacity at the same build-up.
