Why it matters
Some cores cannot meet water. Effervescent products, strongly hygroscopic actives and several of the enteric polymers behave far better out of a solvent system, and the metallic and pearl finishes depend on it. Solvent processing brings its own requirements, a recovery system, a flameproof area and residual solvent testing, and those are yours to hold rather than ours.
Running it
Solvent systems build faster and run cooler than their aqueous equivalents. Watch the spray rate rather than the temperature, because over-wetting shows up as picking long before the bed reads hot.
